Job description:

l Lead commodity strategy deployment to continuously improve Middleby Asia sourcing office supply base.

l To support Middleby global divisions sourcing and supplier quality requests, RFQ, benchmarking, should cost analysis, contract.

l Systematic managing commodities‘ QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) daily events, including leading cost, delivery and quality problem solution trigger and improvement, etc.

l To monitor, analyze and improve supplier QCD performance continuously

l Full ownership of PPV target by driving supplier negotiation and CRP

l Lead team to do benchmarking in the market and develop new suppliers according to new projects requests.

l Lead to source alternative suppliers when risks on supply chain are predicted.

l Supplier entry audit and annual audit.

l Conduct PPAP audit and close findings.

l Follow up FAI status and report regularly.

l Raw material market investigation and anticipate the trend in near future.

l Work with division material planning team to advise optimal logistic chain.

l As a connection to product developing team, he/she should drive demand in the market to supply base, make the decision of “make or buy”, that can help company to catch the market opportunities and create productivities.

l To support material planning team to work with suppliers in case of delivery issues escalated

l To trigger supplier quality improvement and support quality team on supplier quality problems analysis and improvement.

l Build up a reliable and cost-effective supply base.

l Support Middleby divisions to negotiate with, audit their suppliers to help divisions fix their problems.

l Regular reports Asia sourcing projects status, saving and escalations.

Requirements:

l Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering and business. Technical background is preferred.

l 5 years + working experience in sourcing and supplier quality management. SQA or SQE experience is prefered.

l Proficient in English, both oral and writing. Can negotiate with suppliers in English and communicate with native English speakers.

l Excellent in Excel and presentation.

l Accountable, proactive, analytical, data driven and logical

l Solution oriented mind-set

l Active work exposure in corporate projects and communications in multi-national group

l Project management for strategic purchasing projects

l LEAN/6 sigma certified is a plus

l Can travel within China and globally.

4、能够使用 SQL、PL/SQL、Bash、Python 等中的至少一种开发用于数据处理的代码/脚本

5、能够在最少的监督下按时完成任务、处理多个优先事项并准确履行工作职责

6、强大的人际交往能力，能够在团队环境中进行互动并与团队成员进行内部和外部协作

7、精通英语口语和书面语。能够阅读技术文档和撰写商务沟通邮件

8、持续学习者
